Boeing is one of the largest sponsors of the Human Powered Vehicle senior design project at University of Hawaii at Manoa, thanks to the funding provided by Boeing this years team was able to fund 100% of the raw materials needed to manufacture the vehicles fairing and drive train components. This funding helped to purchase the raw metal needed to manufacturer the vehicles steering knuckles along with the fiberglass and resign for the fairing.
